Author Bio
Lindsay Ruck is the author of several non-fiction and children’s picture books, including Amazing Black Atlantic Canadians and My Favourite Colour. Born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Lindsay lived in Ontario for 12 years, but always knew she would one day return to her home province. She now lives in Dartmouth with her husband and two children. Martyna Czub is an illustrator living in Bayswater, Nova Scotia. She studied art education and art therapy in Poland. She moved to Canada in 2016, where she began her career as an artist. Nova Scotia is her dream home, where she finds inspiration for her watercolour illustrations at every step.
