Lindsay Ruck is the author of several non-fiction and children’s picture books, including Amazing Black Atlantic Canadians and My Favourite Colour. Born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Lindsay lived in Ontario for 12 years, but always knew she would one day return to her home province. She now lives in Dartmouth with her husband and two children.
