We have various membership categories, each tailored to your needs as an individual or organization. CCBC members get access to a variety of resources and benefits.

As a member you:

  • Support the reading, writing, illustrating, and publishing of Canadian books for young readers (don’t under-estimate the value in this!).
  • Help us to deliver impactful programming and services.
  • Support authors, illustrators, storytellers, and their publishers.

And, you are able to:

  • Keep up-to-date on what’s happening in the Canadian children’s book scene through your subscription to Canadian Children’s Book News (don’t worry, it's included).
  • Discover what’s new and hot in our semi-annual publication, Best Books for Kids & Teens (yup, also included).
  • Join our Annual General Meeting each June, which features a guest speaker from the Canadian children’s book community.
  • Receive invitations to special events hosted by the CCBC.

Any membership you choose helps us bring Canadian books and young readers together by supporting our programs and publications.
