Christine Battuz has illustrated over sixty books for children, including Wade's Wiggly Antlers and What If Bunny's NOT a Bully?, and has taught art to children of all ages. She lives in Bromont, Quebec.

Biographical note


David Bouchard, speaker, author and educator is an award-winning writer who has penned over 70 books in both English and French. David is a most sought-after public speakers for his gift of storytelling. In 2009, he was named to the Order of Canada for his contribution as an author of children’s books. David is Métis/Ojibway of the Martin Clan; his Ojibway name is Zhiibaayaanakwad. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, David now lives in Victoria, B.C

Christine Battuz was born in France where she started drawing at age 3. Growing up, Christine was inspired by her mother’s collection of painting. She studied in Italy and received her Masters from the Academy of Fine Arts of Perugia. She has illustrated over sixty children’s books in North America, Korea and Europe. She teaches art to adults and children of all ages. She loves trail running and skiing with her husband and son.
