Description
A heart-pounding adventure on the Northumberland Strait.
When Oaklynn and her cousins set out on a pedal boat with storm clouds brewing, they expect a splash of excitement, not a race against time to save a leatherback sea turtle tangled in fishing gear. Together, they vow to save the gentle giant before the storm hits and they're forced to leave for their own safety.
Readers will root for these young nature lovers as they work together to rescue an endangered leatherback sea turtle. The book includes fascinating facts about leatherbacks and a call to protect our oceans.
Perfect for ages 5-9. For fans of adventure, nature, and stories that inspire action.
