As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, we want to show our appreciation for the incredible contributions of Canadian children’s book illustrators. Since we got started in 1976, illustrators have been there to cheer us on, lend their talents, and participate in tours and events. Their artwork has brought wonder and whimsy to our newsletter, posters, and publications. We wouldn’t look so good without you.
To help celebrate 50 years of the CCBC, we invited Canadian children’s book illustrators from across the country to reimagine our iconic Bookhead logo. The results stunned and amazed us. Visit the Book Head Logo Gallery to see for yourself!
We want to thank each and every illustrator who participated. Thanks for making us feel special! If you are a Canadian illustrator and feel inspired to contribute a book head of your own, get in touch! We would be happy to add it to the gallery.
