Description


Abby hates visiting the second-hand clothing shop with her mother — until she meets Joanna and Charlie. Charlie is Joanna’s guide dog, a loyal friend and worker who helps her to see, but he’s no help in picking out clothes for a very special event.

Author Bio


Jan Coates lives in Nova Scotia with her husband, two children and a beagle. Digging for “treasure” in used clothing stores is one of her favorite pastimes. This is her first book.

Alice Priestley is a Toronto based illustrator and web designer. She has illustrated more than a dozen picture books, including Lights for Gita and Mom Marries Mum!, as well as textbooks, anthologies, and some of her website projects.
