The Canadian Children’s Book Centre is celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2026! It is hard to believe, but it is true.
One of the fun ways we are celebrating is though a playful reimaging of our logo. Canadian illustrators have created quick and unique renditions of Book Head, our lovable logo.
The idea is to collect many renditions, in all different mediums and styles, to share with our community. We welcone new submissions!

Are you paying me?
Unfortunately, no, this is a volunteer gig.
Where will my art be displayed?
The CCBC will share your art digitally on our social media channels and on our online gallery on our website (bookcente.ca). With your permission, we will potentially create 50th anniversary swag with the children’s book art community’s Book Heads featured. (We are exploring this option).
What are the parameters?
This is only limited by your imagination, although ideally the final submission will be in a square shape, so it can “hang” in the gallery.
How should I submit my art?
