Shortlist announced for the 2025 IODE Jean Throop Book Award

Recently, the shortlist for the 2025 IODE Jean Throop Book Award was announced. Established in 1974 by IODE's Past Provincial and National President Jean Throop to encourage excellence in Canadian children’s literature, the annual prize is awarded to an author and/or illustrator who resides in Ontario. Sixty-seven titles were submitted to the committee for consideration. The winner will be announced at the IODE Ontario's annual meeting in Hamilton, Ontario on April 11, 2025. Congratulations to the finalists.
