Apply to Tour
We are seeking talented Canadian creators for our annual Book Week tour. Here’s what we look for in a candidate:
A creator who knows how to engage an audience of children and supervising adults.
Someone with strong presentation skills, and can make educational material entertaining.
Someone with a proposed workshop or presentation that offers an experience that teachers and librarians can’t produce themselves.
Promote your work and find a new audience.
Authors and illustrators who tour for Book Week get the opportunity to visit school and libraries locally, regionally, nationally, as well as virtually. It’s a great chance to network with with educators who might ask you back in the future, and showcase your work to more young readers.
