Canadian Children’s Book Week

Touring creators speak to audiences about the delights of reading Canadian children’s books, and offer an inside look into their own work. These workshops and presentations can be a turning point in a child’s life, inspiring a lifelong love of reading.

Over 30 authors, illustrators, and storytellers tour across every province and territory.

28,000 young Canadians participate and get a chance to meet authors and illustrators across Canada.

Over 400 readings and workshops occur throughout the week.

Bibliovideo

Our YouTube channel, Bibliovideo, is the destination for anyone who wants to learn about great Canadian books for young people. Here’s what the channel includes:

Webinars and live events with Canadian creators and publishers.
Story time videos and read-alongs of quality Canadian children’s books.
Weekly video segments covering new releases and developments in the world of Canadian children’s books.
French and Indigenous language videos to ensure all Canadians can enjoy our content.
