Sponsor
Sponsors help us contribute to improving children’s literacy across Canada.
Since we formed the CCBC in 1976, we’ve been committed to the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to develop a love of reading.
For Canadian children to fully engage with literature, it’s vital that they see themselves in the books they read. That’s why we’re determined to make Canadian books as accessible and inclusive as possible.
Our programs, publications, and resources help educators and families select the very best for young readers. In turn, young readers can find ways to enjoy reading that reflects their unique identities. Our sponsors make this essential work possible.
Here are some impacts that our sponsors have on children and creators across Canada:
12M +
Our TD Grade One Book Giveaway provides books to Grade 1 students across Canada. Since starting this program over 20 years ago, we’ve distributed over 12 million books.
28,000
Book Week brings touring creators to schools and libraries across the country. It’s the largest children’s literary festival in Canada, reaching approximately 28,000 students each year.
$175,000
Our book awards provide $175,000 to Canadian creators each year across nine unique awards. This program is essential for growing a national ecosystem of quality children’s books.
Sponsorship Levels
Contributions over $1,000
Sponsors who contribute $1,000 or over are acknowledged as supporters on our website and interviewed in our monthly newsletter.
Presenting Sponsors
Presenting sponsorship is awarded to an organization that pays for a large part of a given program.
