Announcing the Tour Roster for Canadian Children's Book Week 2024
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Toronto (December 14 2023)—The Canadian Children's Book Centre (CCBC) is excited to announce the touring creators for Canadian Children's Book Week 2024. Thirty-two creators (authors, illustrators and storytellers) have been selected to take part in this hybrid tour. Roughly 69% of the participants will be touring for the first time. This year’s roster was chosen in consultation with a volunteer committee.
The upcoming national tour will take place from April 28 to May 4, 2024. During the week-long celebration, the authors, illustrators and storytellers will celebrate the magic of creating stories and the joy of books and reading with youth.
Starting January 8, 2024, schools, libraries, bookstores and community organizations will be invited to submit their application to host Book Week visits.
In January, Communication-Jeunesse, our sister organization in Montreal, will announce the roster for its 2024 Tournée Lire à tout vent tour.
