2020 & 2021 Alcuin Book Design Award Winners

The Alcuin Society’s 39th competition, The 2020 & 2021 Alcuin Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada, took place on Saturday, April 23, 2022, in Vancouver. This year’s winning books have been posted on the Alcuin Society website. This year’s judges, Roberto Dosil, Elisa Gutiérrez, and Nayeli Jimenez, selected 37 winning titles from 305 submissions, from 9 provinces and 109 publishers. We would like to thank them for their time and effort, as well as the all of the participants for a wonderful selection of books.The Alcuin Society is a Vancouver based non-profit society for the support and appreciation of fine books. In addition to its book design competition, the Society publishes a journal, Amphora, and organizes lectures, workshops and exhibitions on various aspects of the book. It also awards The Robert R.
