2016 Helen Isobel Sissons Canadian Children’s Story Award

P.A.C.E. (Canada) is currently accepting submissions to the 2016 Helen Isobel Sissons Canadian Children’s Story Award. This award recognizes the leadership and community contribution of Helen Isobel Sisson, a pioneer in human rights and equity in Toronto’s public school system, by creating stories for young children that reflect the diversity of the world’s population.

This award, which carries a cash prize of $1,000,  is intended to encourage the development of quality literature for young children. P.A.C.E support the significant role that literature can play in the development of children’s appreciation for books and reading.
