October 5th is World Teachers’ Day, a day to celebrate teachers and the central role they play in guiding children, youths & adults through the life-long learning process. Created in 1994 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNSECO), the aim of World Teachers’ Day is to to mobilize support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers.
