The Children’s Literature Roundtables of Canada are proud to announce that One Well: The Story of Water on Earth written by Rochelle Strauss, illustrated by Rosemary Wood and published by Kids Can Press is the winner of the 2008 Information Book Award.
The 2008 honour book is Carnation, Lily, Lily Rose: The Story of a Painting, written by Hugh Brewster, with painting by John Singer Sargent and published by Kids Can Press.
The 2008 Information Book Award of $1000 will be presented on February 28, 2009, at the Vancouver Children’s Literature Roundtable Serendipity Conference.
