Shortlist announced for the Science in Society Book Awards

Toronto, Ontario, 2011 – The Canadian Science Writers’ Association is pleased to announce the shortlist for children’s books published in Canada in 2010 and entered in the national Science in Society Book Awards competition. The award carries a $1,000 prize value. The winner will be announced April 23 on Canada Book Day. The 39th annual Science in Society Journalism Awards banquet to honour award winners will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Wainwright Hotel in the Heritage Park Historical Village in Calgary AB, in conjunction with the CSWA’s annual conference.
