To mark Scholastic’s 90th anniversary year, this fall they are launching a global campaign, READ. By All Means. to underscore the importance of reading for all children. As we begin the second decade of the 21st Century – and for Scholastic, the run up to their 100th birthday ─ they are looking forward rather than back, recognizing that the children learning to read today will be the parents and the citizens of the world in 2050. More and better reading will mean a better world for these children and for our future society.
