Meghan Howe new CCBC Library Coordinator as Naseem Hrab goes to Kids Can Press

After three years as Librarian at the Canadian Children’s Book Centre, Naseem Hrab has left to join Kids Can Press as the Institutional Marketing Manager. “Working at the CCBC for the last three years has been a fabulous experience,” Hrab said. “It’s an absolute delight to be around so many wonderful books every day! While I’m really looking forward to spending more time with Scaredy Squirrel, I’ll be leaving my friends at the CCBC with a heavy heart.”

Meghan Howe has assumed the position of Library Coordinator, effective October 1. A University of Toronto graduate, she joined the CCBC six years ago and has served as Library Assistant since 2004.

CCBC Executive Director Charlotte Teeple says, “We are all sorry to see Naseem leave, as she had done a superb job as the Librarian for the CCBC for the past three years, but we wish her well in her new position at Kids Can Press. We are very pleased to have been able to hire from within. Having worked closely with Naseem over the past three years and previously with Brenda Halliday, Meghan has already handled much of the day-to-day workings of the CCBC collections and Best Books for Kids & Teens.”
