Attention Friends of the International Youth Library,

The IYL offers a fellowship programme that enables people who work in the field of children’s literature to come to our library for a research visit and make use of our unique collection of international children’s literature.

The fellowship is very popular with children’s literature professionals from around the world – academics as well as authors, illustrators, librarians, editors, journalists, etc.

This is just a reminder to let you know that the deadline for applications for 2010 will be the end of September 2009. So if you want to apply – or know anyone who would like to apply – please tell them to send their application form to us within the next few weeks.
