It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Booth on December 22, 2018. David was Professor Emeritus in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning in the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. For over sixty years, David was involved in education, as a classroom teacher, consultant, professor, researcher, speaker and author. In addition to his work in education, David was also the author of many teacher reference books, as well as books for young people, including The Dust Bowl, ‘Til All the Stars Have Fallen: Canadian Poems for Children, Molly Whuppie and the Giant and many more.
Our condolences go out to David’s family and friends. Here is a link to the Toronto Star obituary, as well as a lovely tribute written by one of David’s friends.
