The 2014 Winter Olympic Games are only one month away. On January 7, 2014, Canada’s Olympic men’s hockey team was revealed. It was only four years ago, on home soil, that our men’s and women’s hockey teams won gold and we’re all hoping for a repeat of this next month in Sochi. Hockey has always been considered Canada’s national pastime. Over the years, a number of Canadian kids’ hockey books have been published. In honour of Canada’s Olympic men’s hockey team being revealed, celebrate in your classroom or library with a Canadian children’s book.
