The CCBC would like to thank all authors and illustrators who applied to tour. It was very challenging this year because we received 127 applications for the 26 available tour spots. In addition, 3 storytellers were selected by the Storytellers of Canada. We had to turn away many wonderful, qualified authors and illustrators. We do encourage you to apply again next year if you have a new book coming out.

More information about the 2011 Book Week tours will be posted at www.bookweek.ca in September.
