Black Bottle Man shortlisted for the Prix Aurora Awards

The Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association (CSFFA) is proud to announce the finalists for the Prix Aurora Awards for 2011. Craig Russell’s YA novel, Black Bottle Man (Great Plains Publications), has been shortlisted for Best English Novel. Voting will begin in early June through CSFFA’s online forms or by mail-in ballot. All ballots must be received by October 15, 2011, Midnight PST.

About Black Bottle Man:
It’s 1927, and Rembrandt is the only child in the tiny community of Three Farms. When his aunts grow desperate for babies of their own, they make a deadly deal with the man with the magic black bottle. Rembrandt, Pa and Uncle Thompson, looking for a champion capable of defeating the Black Bottle Man, are forced to move every 12 days or terrible things happen.
