Edmonton – ​The Book Publishers Association of Alberta is now accepting submissions for the 2020 Alberta Book Publishing Awards.

The Alberta Book Publishing Awards have been awarded since 1989, and are the only program dedicated to the recognition of excellence in book publishing in Alberta. Industry professionals from across Canada are asked to adjudicate and select the very best examples of Alberta publishing in up to fourteen distinct categories. The awards are open to all active Alberta owned and controlled publishers whose primary activity is publishing original material; nominated books must have been published between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019.

Submissions will be accepted until February 28, 2020 and the awards will be presented on September 11, 2020 at a gala event in Calgary, Alberta. For complete details on the awards and process please visit ​www.bookpublishers.ab.ca/awards​.
