World Literacy Canada is now accepting submissions for their annual Write for a Better World contest, a nation-wide writing competition open to students in grades 5-8 across Canada. The aim is to inspire exploration into what it means to be a responsible community, and global citizen.
This year’s challenge: Students are encouraged to reflect on the story prompt written by guest judge Melanie Florence and write their original story describing what happens next in 400 words or less.
The deadline for entries is April 1st, 2017.
