The Richard Chase Virtual Author Tour with Alex Lyttle, Pamela Porter & Tim Wynne-Jones

As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, the Richard Chase Memorial Author Tours are to be held in honour of one of our founding members Richard Chase, who passed away suddenly in November 2019. One of Richard’s most gratifying roles in his work with Rocky Mountain Book Award (RMBA) was to introduce children to “real authors.” These virtual author tours are designed to highlight RMBA’s exciting list of award-winning titles and authors.

For our 3rd event, we are welcoming three award-winning authors to a virtual panel. Alex Lyttle won a RMBA gold medal for From Ant to Eagle in 2019; Pamela Porter won an RMBA gold medal for The Crazy Man in 2007, and; Tim Wynne-Jones won an RMBA gold medal for Ned Mouse Breaks Away in 2004.

This event is open to all members of the community who love reading and support Canadian literature. We encourage you to tune in while you have dinner with your family, with your reading clubs, or for an exciting talk on your own!

Registrants who attend the event will be entered in a draw to win a FREE copy of these three titles and a new Rocky Mountain Book Award face mask!
