What & Why: In partnership with First Book Canada and Love Child Organics, Brampton Library is thrilled to present to every new baby born at Brampton Civic Hospital a free copy of the book Tap the Magic Tree, written by Christie Matheson, published by HarperCollins and specially selected by our librarians.
Along with the book, Brampton’s new families are given information about other recommended books to share with baby, information about Brampton Library programs and resources and a voucher for baby’s first library card.
On Monday, August 19 at Springdale Branch Library, everyone is welcome to attend Baby Storytime, where Tap the Magic Tree will be featured. Following the storytime, the partners will speak about the A Reader is Born initiative, offer Love Child Organics food samples and share free copies of Tap the Magic Tree to take home, because it’s never too early to read together to support healthy brain development.
When: Monday, August 19, 2019, 10:30 am ̶ 12:00 pm
Where: Springdale Branch Library, 10705 Bramalea Road, Brampton, ON L6R 0C1
