2021 IODE Ontario Jean Throop Book Award Shortlist Announced

The 2021 IODE Ontario Jean Throop Book Award shortlist was announced earlier this month. As a part of the Provincial Chapter of Ontario IODE’s Jean Throop Book Award Selection Committee, this 48-year-old initiative was established by a Past IODE Provincial and National President Jean Throop, in order to encourage the publication of excellent Canadian-authored children’s books. The committee read and reviewed a total of 71 titles.

The following five titles (alphabetically listed) comprise the 2021 Short List. From these will be selected the 2022 IODE Jean Throop Book Award winner to be announced on April 23rd at the Provincial Annual Meeting by Zoom.
