Presentation and Workshop for my book A Feast for Joseph
Age group range: 6-9 years
Everyone has a unique cultural background and we celebrate our cultures with the foods that we make, and share with each other. In this way, we create friendship and foster community. Together with Ken, we'll meet Joseph and Whoosh in the book A Feast for Joseph, and talk about how their friendship brought them together to prepare and share delicious food from their own cultural backgrounds. Ken will do a read aloud of the book, followed by a creative exercise by drawing foods that represent your own background using the art supplies provided.
